In my role as an illustrator and animator for Taeyong's musical performances in CXO Media Live on Stage 2023, I was deeply moved by the lyrics of "Gwando," which poignantly delved into themes of separation. In response, I embarked on a creative journey to metaphorically represent this emotional struggle through a vibrant and nuanced visual narrative. The animation serves as a metaphor for the challenging transition toward acceptance, illustrating that this path is far from effortless. The choice of bright and vivid colors in the depiction of the emotional journey symbolizes the eventual acceptance and emphasizes the positive transformation that can emerge from navigating through such a tumultuous experience.
